Pavi Jain Profile
Hi, I'm Pavi
I’m all about living by “Curiouser and curiouser!”—diving into biology, experimenting in the kitchen, sketching ideas, and yes, dropping a Disney quote whenever it fits. Life’s full of little mysteries, and I’m here for every one of them.

A quote I live by

I want to see the world and not just through a window.

My Interests

Biology

“Omni cellula e cellula.” Every cell comes from another cell. This simple idea captures why biology fascinates me. It’s the study of life as a continuous chain, where each organism is shaped by what came before and helps shape what comes next. Biology reveals that no living thing exists in isolation; every cell, every creature is connected, forming a web of life that stretches across time. It’s a reminder that life is always in motion, each part linked to the past and future. In studying biology, I feel a quiet sense of belonging, as if understanding these connections brings me closer to understanding my own place in this endless flow of life.

Engineering

“If it isn’t broken, take it apart and see how it works.” That pretty much sums up my approach to engineering. There’s a thrill in dissecting things, figuring out the hidden mechanics behind everyday stuff, and maybe improving it—or at least putting it back together without too many extra screws left over. Engineering, for me, is all about curiosity combined with creativity, turning problems into puzzles to solve. The best part? Watching ideas go from scribbles on paper to real, working solutions. It’s a field where logic meets imagination, and every project is a chance to make something that matters (or at least something that won’t fall apart).

Cooking

Cooking is just science you can eat, and guess what? I love science, and I love to eat! For me, cooking is the perfect blend of experimentation and reward. It’s a place where I can mix, measure, and test, all with the bonus of a tasty payoff (most of the time).

Drawing

Drawing, for me, is just an excuse to bring utter nonsense to life. Blank page? Great—it’s about to get filled with flying toasters, grumpy clouds, and lizards in top hats. Who needs realism when I can make a doodle of a fish riding a bicycle? It’s less about making sense and more about seeing how ridiculous I can get before even I start questioning it.

💡 My Projects

Research

Led four studies, gaining expertise in statistical analysis, data interpretation, academic writing, and critical review through extensive reading, with one paper published internationally.

ReBloom Project Image

Rocket Science Youth Association

The Rocket Science Youth Association fosters hands-on aerospace innovation among students. As Chief Recovery Engineer, I designed and sewed a parachute from curtain sheets, enabling our rocket to safely descend after reaching 1 km altitude—setting the World record. This experience taught me practical skills in engineering and sewing.

ReBloom Project Image

Echo-Lingua

I helped develop a hearing aid and learned programming in Arduino from scratch. I also implemented various APIs.
